Advent Study on Joseph

11.13.17 | Education by Rob Courtney

During Advent, as part of our Wednesday night “Service, Supper, & Substance,” we will prepare for the coming of Christ by looking through the eyes of Joseph. Mary rightly gets a great deal of attention during Advent, but Joseph is usually overlooked. Yet, this seemingly inconsequential character’s courageous actions are central to the story of Jesus Christ, and thus to our stories. Join us beginning Wednesday, Nov. 29 as we read Adam Hamilton’s new book Faithful: Christmas through the Eyes of Joseph. You can sign up for a copy of the book on the table in outside the church doors. The cost per book is $15 paid to the church office, or you can order an e-reader copy on your own. You also do not have to read the book in order to attend and participate in the study, and you'll still benefit from it!
