We are all heartbroken for our friends and neighbors in South Louisiana who are experiencing the terrible effects of the flooding. Many of us are looking for the best way to respond, especially from somewhat of a distance, and in the midst of busy lives.

Here are the best ways for you to partner with us in helping to serve the flood victims in our diocese.

    Donate Money

100% of the money donated to the Bishop's Professional Fund will go to helping flood victims. You can make your gift here. You can also donate to the Episcopal Relief and Development US Disaster Aid Fund here

    Volunteer Your Time

If you or your group are interested in helping with debris removal, gutting, and restoration work please sign up below. We will be in touch with information soon on upcoming dates and jobs.

Pray for the victims. Pray for those responding to the crisis. Pray for their families.

Compassionate God, whose Son Jesus wept at the grave his friend Lazarus: Draw near to us in this time of sorrow and anguish, and comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who are weary, encourage those in despair, and lead us all to fullness of life; through the same Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

    God's blessings,
