Epiphany Studies

01.02.20 | Education by Rob Courtney

We live in uncertain times, and it’s often hard to know the truth. We invite you to join us during the Season of Epiphany, Jan. & Feb. 2020as we search for truth together.

Caring for Creation—Join Fr. Rob for a book study where reading the book is not required! On Wednesday nights beginning Jan. 8 – Feb. 26 he’ll be reading Caring for Creation: The Evangelical’s Guide to Climate Change and a Healthy Environment by Mitch Hescox & Paul Douglas, and teaching the concepts. No reading necessary, just join him for some teaching and discussion. If you’d like to read along, however, there are copies of the book in the narthex for a donation of $10.  This is part of our Wednesday “Service, Supper, & Substance.” Mass is at 5:30 PM, supper at 6:00 PM, and the program begins at 6:30 PM.

Faith & Science—On Sundays at 9:00 AM from Jan. 5 – Feb. 23 our adult Christian education class will focus on Faith and Science in the 21st Century. Are faith and science incompatible as many will argue? Or is there another way? This video-based series will feature eight noted theologians each speaking on a scientific topic. Join us as we seek the truth together through conversation and learning.
